I think you miss the major catalyst: earnings and conference calls, what the company has to say about its future in the decreasing interest rate environment. The Fed provides the environment in which the company executes its business plan. If the business plan and its execution are sound, and the environment is favorable, then the company does well. I suggest you read and analyze earnings, and listen to the conference calls of the companies you own. Forget the shorts, they don't make the market. JMHO.
