Completely OT but nevertheless fascinating: From a research report dated 28 December 2000, written by Charles Peabody at Mitchell Securities: On Thursday, January 4, at 3PM the Federal Reserve will announce a cut in the Fed funds rate of 25 to 50 basis points. He was just one day off.
