i agree that a takeover would be bad now. but the future for alta is looking better lately. i have been a shareholder for over a year and still hold at a loss. i feel the company is grossly undervalued and have a long time i can wait for profits. it has been pretty quiet as far as press releases. i think this may be due to company getting griffon into production quickly. most other gold companies are looking much worse than alta and when the metals market improves, alta should once again be out in front as far as returns. good luck.
