Ted <because we need more rate cuts> normally I would agree. But since I'm floating my interest rate for a couple more weeks ... CUT RATES, CUT RATES, CUT RATES!! Every quarter point is worth about $40/month to me.

Actually, the rates will keep falling whether they cut at the end of the month or not. The reason is because the feds have also cut the discount rate twice, I think, which allows more $$$ into the system; the more money, the lower the rates.

I suggest you lock in your mortgage rate as late as your lender will permit before funding of the loan.
