Whew, closed out my index shorts, looks like some well placed buying coming in. (ie, painting) The only metals I have played recently are platinum & palladium futures. Silver and gold are just dead. They just get no respect. I have no opinion on them now, except to say that if you like them long, buy some way out of the money calls and hope for the best. I do have a few micro-cap miners, but that is dead money too at this point. I think natgas has been the best "raw material" the past year. I don't trade the grains until the spring, but the same old story holds, over production.
