Oh yeah? You think that 325 point move was only natural buyers? No shorts scrambling? Get serious GST. Look at HJ, he's shorting left and right now. Not making fun of him, just using him as an example of people hopping on the short bandwagon. Lots of other traders that bought in the last few days are selling out and some of them are going short. I'm reading them on the message boards. You have to think that the shorts think this market is going off a cliff now, it can't even hold a rally on a fifty point cut! Well why do you think Greenspan cut rates when he did, catching people off guard and sticking it to the shorts when they least expected it? For the most dramatic effect. Don't underestimate his ability to orchestrate an incredible short squeeze by cutting again during expiration and earnings week when massive derivatives positions can be totally whipsawed.

I would love to see the kind of rally we could have if the Fed cut again during expiration week. Think of all these shorts being put on and unwinding into another Fed cut. My oh my, 325 points might be chicken feed if that were to happen.
