You do not mean a combination of K and U and K?? (I'm trying hard to find other swedish three letter words, most are four or more)
But that's not really optimal for men, although a traditional designer rule, what most like to hold in the hand but should have some soft, rounded old-time-Volvo-PG-Amazon features too?? (what I have heard from a not so famous finnish designer)
Anyway, I think the Ericsson-Nokia design contrast was a combination of
- Nokia, during Kairamo, getting consumer inputs from the TV (Salora) consumer business (including Luxor, thanks, kind of)
- Ericsson sticking to "professional electronics", kind of engineering, easy to make the mechanical drawing thingy, even lots of cute screws??
Personally I have always feared the "remote control" cheap plastic look, nothing as scary as somebody desperately talking to their remote control.
Is "tre knackkorvar" (three sausages) still used for the Ericsson logo in Sweden?? (the logo designs was the other way around at that time, Ericsson 10 years too early, the Nokia logo actually like the Ericsson phones of today and yesterday??)

P.S. But the best thing is still the chrome 8810 owner who cannot but constantly polish the chrome forehead, trying whatever he/she tries to accomplish??
P.P.S It is now proven, a handset should go smoothly, very smoothly into the pocket, a kind of both-gender (friday) smooth-operator thing (Felia hasn't been that smooth, no??)
P.P.P.S All in a good Danish B&O mood, of course. |
