Brandmakers' withdraws from WSMI negotiations

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA, - Brandmakers, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: BMKS - news) announced today that it has withdrawn from actively pursuing any sale, merger or joint venture with Canadian based WSMI and Bee-Trade.Com.

Senior management made the decision after months of speculation and unsuccessful negotiation. "Our management team decided it was time to refocus our efforts on the core business which made us successful in the first place. We have not totally closed the door on some future agreement, but felt that suspending negotiations at this time makes the most sense for our company." Stated Geoff Williams CEO.

The games and vending division has just booked its first order for the Cell phone vending machine, which finished development in late October. These first units will be shipped by months end. "We feel that this machine can be more successful than out Virtual Reality Golf game which generated more revenue than any product in company history within its first two years of begin released." Added Williams

The Zoom paging division finished the first 6 months of the year, more than doubling last year's sales for the same period. The tremendous growth should easily propel the division past its projected $3,000,000 plus in sales for the year. The division will introduce several new products this year, which should make an even greater impact on sales and profits.

Mailstart will focus on its pay for use ASP model as well as look at streamlining operations to create more efficiency. The program, which has already been implemented with several companies, allows partners to have a branded email solution. "This fee based model is clearly the way to get Mailstart to profitability in the shortest time possible, while at the same time giving all our users the best possible service." States Williams.

The company has also shut down its Splash studios division because management felt that it was not generating enough revenue to justify its existence.

"Brandmakers will also be making some internal changes to make better use of the talent sets of each of its members on the senior management team. After a long look at the past 6 months it was decided that this course of action will return the company back to its past profitability in the shortest amount of time." Added Williams.

Brandmakers is a Georgia-based holding company operating three separate divisions: MailStart, an internet development division featuring WebBox e- mail access gateway services; Zoom Communications, a wide-area and on-site paging communications operation; Gamosity, which manufactures, sells and services amusement games and vending machines; Brandmakers is headquartered at 1325 C Capital Circle NW, Lawrenceville, GA. The company's stock began public trading on the Over The Counter Bulletin Board market in October 1999.
