I vociferously, but respectfully disagree. What you're
talking about isn't so much about SUNW, it's about
equities. Or is it about equities with high betas? Or is it
about NASDAQ equities? My SUNW position is made from
legacy electric utility positions sold in 1995-96. I didn't
purposefully set out to be concentrated in SUNW. I just
couldn't find a better value and I ended up holding a whole
lot of SUNW. It's up x10. The utilities? Well, they paid
~2% dividends a year but haven't moved much at all since
then. The thing is though, that I'm up x10 and look at SUNW
as the same great value I saw in 1995-96. The big bonus is
I've come to know Sun management as world class and am
comfortable with Mike and Steady Eddie and slapshot Scotty.
They have more accumen than me. My cash is managed by
SUNW.

SUNW has been the baby thrown out with the bathwater many
many times in the past. What's different about this time?
