Balmer getting nasty. I think he should leave the remarks to the Sunw and Oracle products and not go after McNealy's personal views. I also think the economic environment is right to launch such campaigns emphasizing price and performance. Now is the time for MSFT to make a move in the higher end. dot.bombs have been fueling Sunw's growth. I don't even believe the IBM types made any dents in Sunw's biz. However the bursting internet bubble might be Sunw's worst enemy.
