Four NLWs [news letter writers] i respect and value, actually two of them i meant to subscribe to since fall and haven't gotten around to it yet - John Kaiser, Claude Cormier, Chris Bunka, Sudhir Khanna ... all specific to mineral exploration mostly of course ... Kaiser's stuff is highly educational, his bottom-fishing edition is a greatly useful reference work for the following year, and i just happen to like his writing, some would call it verbose but it points out considerable relevant detail and stimulates thought, imho ... his picks suck bad from time to time, but those are the breaks, who among us is without sin ... i think the major value lies in learning how to think, not in having your hand held through trading decisions ... Claude Cormier ditto, he posts to SI a fair bit, made me a lot of money and i never paid him a dime yet, though i did encourage a friend to subscribe.

cOUSIN SHORTY too, you can learn a lot and the price is right if you use your girlfriend's credit card - Message 15133060

All depends ... they're just like stocks, you gotta evaluate 'em on performance, eh.
