Howdy Gang!!
I'm back, refreshed, and invigorated from my little two-week hiatus, as well as from the Force 2 tornado that Mother Nature decided to send through my N. Virginia neighborhood on Monday. (No permanent damage done, however being slammed into a pre-industrial state from lack of electricity WAS depressing... :0)
But enough of the play on your sympathies, I know that you all would rather care to know about why the stock took a flying leap UPWARD today. Well, the answer is that, uh....er...... Well, I don't really know why specifically. However, some of my normal sources of information have become surprisingly tight-lipped, (some would say "SMUG"..... :0) and I would take that as a possible indicator that something is up. We had big volume today and the number of trades involved indicate a renewed surge of interest. I haven't spoken with Global Financial Traders recently, but would appreciate a member of the audience filling me in on their latest forecast. One of my sources recommended that I just sit back and relax for a coupla weeks, and just watch the stock. They wouldn't say what they meant by that. However, my keen professionally honed sense of intuition tells me that it will likely be positive.... :0)
As you may recall my saying earlier this month, some VERY influential figures in the entertainment hardware arena were exchanging business cards with MSU personnel at COMDEX and the subsequent DCI Internet Expo and PC Computer Expo, and this may have something to do with it. I have felt that it was only a matter of time after MSU gained visibility that interested parties would start contacting them regarding the "Internet on a Chip" concept. They have it and LSI Logic doesn't. That is all there is to it. The ramifications are still enormous. Every TV could have integrated Internet hardware installed for less than an additional $100-150, thus bringing the internet to the masses. How many TV's are sold every year?? How many people have contacted me about Curtis Mathes and whether there is a link between them and MSU?? (Not that I know of... :0) I think shareholders who share my feelings realize that this stock is a keeper in your portfolio. It will be in mine. How you play the ups and downs is your own business.
I also believe that when the Envoy CD- Rom Controller is fully test-driven, we will see further potential for price growth. I have no further info on whether or not it is "in Silicon" yet, but from I gather earlier this month, it should be shortly. Whether the company will announce this publicly is another story.
It is my sincere hope that the company and its representatives will assist in bringing shareholders up-to-date on what the company is doing. I understand how difficult it is for most of you to rely mainly on a non-official source such as the MSU Gossip Forum for the latest and greatest on our company.
I'm a HUGE, HUGE believer in the opportunities for enabling mass access to the Global Internet. International Cultural walls coming down; capabilities for the average voter to "edgamacate hisself" on the issues (as well as providing polling data on political stances, etc.) ; and providing the means of spreading information to EVERYONE. Notwithstanding the commercial possibilities. ACTUALLY, This is the "soapbox" routine I used the other day when I was sharing some "Barstool Banter" with a political appointee working as a Director of ****** ****** with the United States Information Agency (USIA). (Wash DC is a great place for running into people like these... :0) He himself expressed some interest in the technology and saw how mass access to the internet would fit into his agency's mission... Needless to say, I be talking to him again.
If you believe, all things are possible,..... (Kinda makes ya' feel all warm and fuzzy, doesn't it?? ..... :0) Well, enough of my rhetoric and innuendoes. It is time for you to let me know why YOU believe.
Regards,
Ron The MSU Muse... ***************************************************************************** QUOTATIONS: (I'm a collector of fine quotes, feel free to send yours in for inclusion)
