I know that this is going to seem like a crazy revolutionary idea, but have you thought of setting up the ability to revert to the previous version when you discover that the code doesn't work right?

Does SI really consider whatever new feature that they are adding to be more important than the availability of their site?

And why did you choose Thursday nights as the switchover night? Why not Friday night when the market is closed?
