I don't think the blind men who tried to describe an elephant from what they could "see" with their hands added a great deal to the store of human knowledge. GMGC has hired a person to address what many thought was a weak spot in their management. Wouldn't it be better to assume that the people who run the company made a sensible decision? What is the advantage of citing every possible shortcoming and weakness, based on what is an obvious lack of factual knowledge? Criticize GMGC's management? It's been done, ad nauseum. They are still in business, they're in a new year, and they've addressed a weak spot. Give the selection an opportunity to do the job that needs doing ... and leave it at that.
