With all these products under development, no wonder WIND seems to be the only company still hiring near Silicon Valley, what with 240 slots unfilled (according to numerous reports on various WIND threads). This isn’t the mystery that confused thousands of sports enthusiasts at the recent Oakland Raiders football game. What confused most people there was how the plane trailing the sign with something like “Wind River needs engineers – call xxxx” could keep on flying for the whole game.

Those lucky fans knowledgeable about sports beyond football probably assumed the plane was controlled by a VxWorks super-efficient autopilot.

I wasn’t there, but this is how it got reported third hand on the East Coast. It makes me believe the job vacancies are real.
