I'm interested in all alternative indicators, like the one you posted about. I believe that we are behind with our indicators. . . like using analog measurements in a digital world. Perhaps some universities have some interesting studies going on that we could tap into. . . better than trying to squeeze milk from indicators which no longer work.

The markets are still fear-driven. That's another reason I've turned more bullish than normally. . . though I've been enjoying these predictable days we've had recently very much. As long as we keep hearing "fear this" and "fear that", AND the FED is behind cutting rates and adding liquidity. . . my money goes behind the FED.

We've had 10 months of Fear. Now that the FED has turned to the side of the Bulls, it is hard not to be bullish. Just look at any chart which compares interest rate action and stock market indices. . . or better yet. . . liquidity and stock market action. . . they all move in tandem. Just a matter of time.

The worse than expected earnings being presently reported were totally expected after the 1/2 point rise in rates in May. . .this is the 8th month since then. . .which is about how long it takes for the rise to show up on bottom lines. There are no more surprises left regarding earnings this month, IMO.

Staying with original plan: Message 15097780 [worth another look]
