Sinobull to distribute IBM products in China

(4 January 2000) Hartcourt Companies Inc. announced on Jan. 4 that its subsidiary, SinoBull Financial Group, has agreed to become an IBM Partner for Software in China.
Sinobull is a technology developer and Internet service provider. Its operating companies include Beijing UAC E-Commerce Networks, Shanghai Guo Mao Science & Technology, SinoBull Network Technology and Financial Telecom Ltd.
The agreement entitles SinoBull to integrate IBM's best available software technology into SinoBull's e-solutions for the banking and securities industry in China.
According to a company statement, the partnership will help Sinobull deliver greater value to its customers by cutting costs, speeding up business processes and software development, and increasing productivity for its e-finance applications.
Under the partnership arrangement, SinoBull will receive IBM partnership benefits including free training and technical support in China. IBM will help the firm choose from more than 3,000 products and components for redistribution, resale and repackaging.
These are open-standards based, ready-to-use software technologies, components, subproducts and packaged products that SinoBull can embed, integrate, preload or bundle with its own products. |
