From the hard copy (mailed) quarterly report, 9/30..... (yes, the same little tri-fold mailer that gave 12/31/00 as the objective for DGI independence, so grain of salt stuff) The company has been selling ultra-low temperature freezers to the laboratory market in Europe and other parts of the world for many years and will introduce these products as well as its new range of vacuum insulated panel (VIP) freezers into the U.S. market in early 2001. NBS' VIP freezers, which were recently introduced in Europe, provide 30 percent additional internal storage capacity in the same footprint as that of a traditional freezer since less insulation is required, resulting in thinner walls.
