I see that the situation in California is getting ridiculous- imagine thinking that the power companies should declare bankruptcy. That won't solve anything. Where are Californians going to get the surplus power they need? I guess some genie is going to step in and magically build power plants in the next week. I'm sure the environmentalists would not accept the genie's plans <g>. The people selling natural gas to California would probably happily take some golden bars as payment for the gas instead of some useless company or government paper, but I don't think Al wants to lease any to them. Good luck California... and good luck "new economy". This time it's different <g>. Perhaps this situation will be part of the puzzle that unleashes a gold bull.
