Hi Kendall, do you believe the article you quoted ? I couldn't tell from your post.

If you believe that this was a "an asset bubble or new-technology-driven capital-spending" kind which causes "deflationary busts, sharply declining equity prices, a weakening currency and a downward spiral in the economy.", then we are not even close to a bottom. I say that since the downward spiral in the economy, weakening curency, etc. has barely started.

But you also say you feel we are near a bottom. How can that be ?
