"No mention of EDIG" may be because they didn't use their design. It could have just been one of many alternatives. (Biggies hedge their bets. I worked on a Sony product where they had two alternative designs on parallel track.) They also could have been a bit player in a very specific capacity, doing some design work for hire. In any case, any EDIG involvement is pure speculation on your part.
