No, Ish, actually the liberal Judge(that happened to be black) wanted to get the guy off his sentence, saying a person MUST be crazy to kill that many policemen. So Ashcroft chose NOT to confirm him for a higher position. Now they say Ashcroft is a racist because of that....just stupidity.
