I just got off the phone with a friend who read a post on Prodigy. The author of the post attended the confrence and wrote a long 14 page letter explaining the whole lecture. I dont have the time to go into all but I'll pass on some key highlights.
1) Because of some patents still pending there was no demonstration of the modem to the general public. Only companies who came and signed non-discloser statemnts were able to see an actual demo.

2) Neldon himself explained the whole DWM technology in waht was described as a very proffessional (and very technical) lecture.

3) No dates for a product relaese were announced

4) Although the person who attended did not see any actual demo, he said the general feel for the conference and some of those he spoke to were very excited about the whole technology and believe that it works.

There was much more in the letter but the I think the end result is that we are at the same place we were at a few months ago. Nothing was proven or disproven, The only hope we have for the short term on this stock is if one or more of the companies who got a look at this believes in it.

One last note. Neldon said that he will license DWM not sell it.
