I've heard rumors that 3DO is negotiating with Microsoft to get more favorably royalties for making games for the X-box. ERTS announced they would be making games for X-box just a few weeks ago. I makes sense that 3DO would follow. I think I read someplace that games for the X-box and games for PC's would be using the same programming language. 3DO is already making games for PC's.
