Hi BIll,

I get the drift. You probably don't like to think of it this way but ole buddy - that is being a BTD'r.Welcomd aboard. Lets just ay your timing of the right dip is more refined.gggggg

I did have one question about your web site. In it you state the fed cut 3/4 of a point. I was wondering if perhaps you were confusing the 1/2 fed funds rate cut and the 1/4 fed discount rate cut followed by another 1/4 pointfed discount rate cut. In total it means a 1/2 point cut each for both rates.

The fed funds rate is a rate charged to banks that don't maintain the required minimum reserves. The fed discount rate is whatgets paid to banks on the minimum reserves, thus the 1/2 point penalty.

Of late the treasury's have yielded less than both, thus making the purchase of treasury's a loser.Banks would rather have cash at the fed or better yet in loans to companies/people.Thus the liquification of our economy.

Heck I'm preaching to the choir.I have over time enjoyed your steadfastness to your models.I have tried to beat them by buying the perfect bottom - cause sitting in cash is just so boring (and yes I know you can see your money increasing). But when this bad boy turns it will be fast and I'll be in at a low somewhere with the clock on for capital gains. It sounds sort of like the young bull and the old bull standing on top of the hill - doesn't it. HEHEHE

As always love your guidance and hope I might have helped on a misunderstanding. Maybe Mine???gggggg

Bob
