Actually, none of Cisco's products have ever been very good. The key has always been the software stranglehold. However, look at Microsoft's dwindling numbers for evidence that a strong position in a declining market is not always a good thing. The point is that neither you nor I can envision the future. It is even more difficult to envision the future of tech than in fields like soft drinks. That is why the market's assumption that Cisco will own the future is so silly. Tom
