Big Piggies like NTIQ, WEBM and CHKP are definitely on MY own list. Look at EPNY. The beginning of the end of the blimps and the companies plowing along on revenue, loans and no profit. Also PVTL's earnings are coming out and EXFO following. There is a long list. They will play the rollover game. There were 10 fat piggies on a bed and the little one said roll over. Then they all rolled over and one fell down there were 9 fat piggies in the bed, when the little one said, roll over...etc...and then there were none. There are a number of biotechs that will be hit in the next few weeks as well. IDPH is still swollen but right now I'm waiting for earnings on CIMA before I reshort that one for more than a day trade. Until then I will stay with BBH puts and one or two others until the dust settles. I definitely will be around for the denouement. I don't care if the market is down or up. All I want or need is time enough to trade and to have a TREND in place, any trend is fine. If I can pick up some nice companies for a swing trade in other sectors I do but I don't chase technology. It is like quicksilver, mercury...everyone who got into technology thinking it bottomed got burned, simple enough. If technology rebounds it will be from bottoms that stem not from technical bottoms, but from fundamental bottoms. That means that when valuations come down low enough, I will consider reentering. There is a lot of money still to be made from the short side and your post is on target.
