Oh yeah, I remember that ad.

Made sense to me. BWDIK - I also think ASP makes sense. <g>

Maynard isn't exactly out in the boondocks. It's about halfway between Route 128 and Route 495; using the hub analogy, if 128 is the edge of the rim, 495 is the tread. It was good enough for DEC, and at its peak DEC was the state's largest employer. There are quite a few small high-tech companies out there now. It's an old mill town and they've done the mill conversion thing starting back when Dukakis' "Economic Miracle" collapsed.

A while ago they were talking about "trophy" properties breaking $100/sf next year in Boston, but with the economy cooling that will probably be a rarity.

You can check the going rate at World Trade Center East by searching for Office space in Boston under Properties for Lease here:
loopnet.com {results 1 week delayed without registering}

or here at the broker's website:
spauldslye.com

Min Lease Rate/Sq Ft: $58.00
Available Sq Ft: 100,284
Sub Lease: No {I guess this ain't them}

LoopNet is a nifty site, but can't they do better than a postage stamp sized photo?
