P.S. Did they already found out who dropped that large metal piece of art in Seattle

As a follow up, today I read more about that metal piece [that fell from the sky]...it turns out that it looks like the metal monolith from an old movie and it suddenly appeared on top of a hill in a city park on New Year's day and then the next nite, someone moved it to an island in the middle of a big lake in the city.....that's when I saw it on tv..the island is heavily wooded.

But I still didn't get the significance of this metal thing until just now. The name of that old movie was 2001 and of course, New Year's this year was the first day of 2001.

As I said before, its a very typical Seattle joke. It comes from having too many computer geeks who read too many sci fi books when they were growing up.

In the meantime the city has moved it back to the hill in the park 'cause a lot of people still want to see it. However, the name of the hill is kite's peak because that's where a lot of kids fly their kites in the spring. So they will have to move it again.

I am sure it will become as famous as Le Pissoir in Belgium.....and we will make many tourist $$$ from it..hehehehehe. ;~))
