License to Steal : The Secret World of Wall Street and the Systematic Plundering of the American Investor -- Timothy Harper(Editor), Anonymous; Another good book on the life of a broker and how it is in their interest to make money for the firm first, client second. Some very funny sections about negotiating to be a broker and jumping to different firms. Similar to Liar's Poker by Michael Lewis. Interesting tales of the IPO issues. Now that many trade on-line, the book may seem dated with the broker refusing to execute an order. Jack
