For example, Linda Chavez didnt realize the person she provided housing and money to during 1992-93 was an undocumented alien. I sure the same is true of many other people in Chavez's position. washingtonpost.com Actually, if Chavez's story is accurate, I would be more, not less, willing to vote for her confirmation. She would actually fit the label of compassionate conservative. But after the nannygate precedent set in 1992, I think she is in serious trouble.
