There's a book called 'Denison's Ice Road', author Edith Iglauer, ISBN 0-525-09006-1, first edition 1974 ... great read, true story, here's from page one paragraph two -

'The creator of this road of snow and ice is a lanky, laconic, sometimes humorous Canadian in his fifties named John Denison, whose family motto is the latin word, Perseverando.'

Walt knows of it ... i wonder where he is, he usually updates us on the ice road starting around this time ... maybe he's finally taken off with that stewardess down to the chateau on the tropical isle he never told anyone about.
