Margin calls are a function of client/broker relationship.

Typical brokers require 50% equity in a clients account, and give a day or two for client to front up more dosh, but this does depend on the volitivity of the individual stock and the relationship of the broker/client.

I think next major margin call problems will appear in low 3's ie
stock will go from 3 3/8 to 3 VERY FAST.

I believe they call this

Building a base

translated this means no one wants to sell and realise their loss and no one wants to buy till someone SHOWS THEM THE MONEY. I expect a very depressed share price till at least late October 97.
