"...more from RB..":

Lowe Alpine's gear is used and respected around the world and the company still brags about its origin with the Lowes. Just click on "Our heritage" below.
lowealpine.com

But the Lowe brothers are now at Arete Outdoors and the products they're using to launch this company -- SnowFang and the two downhillers -- have much broader demographics than the FootFang they introduced at Lowe Alpine. Unlike most penny stocks (where the question is "Can they do it?"), the question here is "Can they do it again?" The trackrecord of the last year -- products going from design through patent and prototype to production and hardware hitting the slopes at the beginning of the snow season -- hints at an answer of "yes."

The only reason to invest in a penny stock is the extent to which the people, products, and prospects are good enough to mitigate the inherent risks. For a look at products:

If you have a graphics program, zoom in on the hardware and the quick-disconnect fittings. This is worldclass merchandise purposely designed to appeal to three groups:
1. youngsters who want to "carve corners" and "grab some air."
2. aging boomers who want to "do it" without a long learning curve and without torquing the old ankle joints. Looking at these two, "safe and thrilling" hits them both.
3. of equal importance, slope owners who -- between dirt and powder versions -- will be able to generate cashflow year-round.

Note reference to "easy on-and-off lift loading without special racks or reduction in lift speed." Translate to "Hey, slope owner! There's no impact to your existing operation." Looks to me like there's a plan in place and they're laying the cards down one at a time.

Remember that Arete Outdoors is only the first company to be fostered in the Arete Industries portfolio. Read this and let the implications soak in:

Or, just wait a couple years until Mike and Greg are being interviewed on TV about the amazing success of their "new" company. By then, the risks will be pretty well gone. So will the opportunity for returns measured in thousands of percentage points.

Just one guy's opinion,

Caradoc

Regards,

John :-)
