Have been watching Thompson I-Watch since posting earlier. There has been some talk of institutional dumping (FIDO might be in there selling, I hear). So had a look at the four stocks recently mentioned. After the morning markdown, mostly retail, some of those issues are seeing institutional buying. Those are QGENF @ $24, ABI @ $65, and IVGN @$60. WAT, on the other hand, continues to see little but selling pressure. With IVGN seeing some insider selling, I think it could easily trade lower. ABI and QGENF, however, are tempting me. Still, I think of the APBiotech patent win (no deal reached for cross-licensing yet, but we can hope, it's early), and the possibility that QGENF's business is suffering. That latter doesn't seem likely. QGENF is Dutch, so currency translation issues of the sort that got TECH shouldn't be there.

So if I change my mind about any of these soon, it will be QGENF. Trickle has the cash, and doesn't expect to use any on IPOs or spinouts right away. No one has offered any thoughts on the actual management of the portfolio, so I guess I won't ask. Y'all want to see what I can do all by myself, eh? I hope y'all give me at least a year.

Cheers, Tuck
