jas: Ahhh ... I see. It's always proper etiquette to protect one's source(s). Repeating comments from someone in the know could be considered to be taking advantage of inside information ... and we wouldn't want that to happen, now would we?

From an ethics perspective, I wonder if some of the rumors discussed on these boards could be considered inside information? I don't think anything could be done about it if so, what with Free Speech and all that ... but it's an interesting thought that could provoke meaningful discussions ... hopefully on another thread. Those SEC rules and regulations were created for a reason.

Incidentally, the conference schedule would be considered a "public" document, so once it became available to attendees, any information in it could be used (or misused) at will. Then, once info gleaned from the public schedule is published on a public bulletin board like this ... well, I think all's fair game.
