"most who I've.. blahblah" would work for me because that is the case. It is partly the case because the one's who don't feel that way don't speak up. At least not to me. But that is personal experience. There is also the natural tendency to hear most clearly those who speak loudest. The naysayers tend to speak very loudly. You are right that "most", by itself, would stepping over the line, as that is an unknown. And I do hope that is not true. someone mentioned Janet Reno's name in a pm to me, and she is another woman whose appearance and persuaian (you'd think I could spell that) has been much discussed. But it is important to remember that it is a faction of people who believe in the way, and to foucs on not letting their views dominate the way we will be individually, rather than broadening it to a more general view of people, whoever they may be.
