Reviewing digital camera forecasts reveals a discrepancy between predictions and numbers posted on the lily-pond site. net-gain.com First, base year numbers for 2000 are lowballed by 70%: idg.net Also, I am unable to find the Infotrends numbers cited on the lily pond site (and formed the basis of the projections). However, Infotrends research from a few months earlier points to a worldwide market as much as 3X the lily-pond prediction in 2005. infotrends-rgi.com (note, separate articles for Europe, Japan, and US; ROW not estimated) -Brian
