Heard on the news recently that China achieved its 10 year goal of eliminating extreme poverty by the year 2000. Extreme poverty was initially defined as an income below 1 U$D per day. The govt. redefined it to .21 cents. Strangley enough their stats now show that most of the nation has a daily income above .21 cent. They've declared victory...
