yes, i heard about it and it worried me a bit...that's usually a contrary sign. there was also a recent Time cover about the 'slump'. usually the market responds with strong counter-trend rallies to such popular press covers eventually, but they're no good as precise timing tools. in reality people are by and large still optimistic, in spite of the deteriorating fundamentals.
