Alan, That was probably a fairly accurate assessment of the state of the industry in 9/98. However, in my opinion, that would have been a reason to buy which is apparently at variance with Greenberg's advice. I believe AMAT was probably in the mid 20's at that time and went to 230 (unadjusted for the 2/1 split). In fact, I bought some AMAT in early October 1998 in the low 20s. Phil
