Those movies can't hold a candle to the movie which will surely capture Cannes, as well as Best Picture Oscar. I'll let you speculate which one it is for a moment.

This is a film of really transitory beauty. There is one scene involving a shot of a suburban jungle blowing gently in a breeze that finally gave me a framework for realizing that much American art contains representative evocations of lush people.

The acting is superb, the script (though replete with slang) is by turns moving and powerful (though somewhat melodramatic) and the action sequences are the best I've seen in at least a week. And though it's not a chick flick in the classic sense, it features a love story at its core where girls and boys touch each other. It's also a "liberal" movie in the sense that it venerates self-gratification in preference to honor and loyalty.

I'd really recommend seeing this in the theatres because the cinematography is world crass and it adds a reel to the production to see it on a big screen.

The Movie? The one and only "Hey Dude, Where's My Car".
