TRITEAL CORP. (TEAL) 9 3/8 +7/8. Leading provider of mission-critical operating environment solutions
has announced a cross licensing and joint marketing agreement with Corel Corp. (COSFF 6 +1/8), a
developer and marketer of productivity applications, graphics and Internet software, to integrate office
applications with desktop software solutions. The agreement will provide TriTeal with productivity application
technology that will become integrated with its desktop solutions for Java, Windows and UNIX. In
exchange, Corel will be able to deliver applications with a common look and feel to virtually any Java,
Windows, and UNIX client platform. According to the company, this new agreement will provide the industry's
first and only fully functional, Java-based windowing (non-browser interface) desktop with the industry's first
Java-based office productivity suite. Announcement has allowed shares of TEAL to trade higher today, although
issue is significantly below its high of 23 1/4 posted in early January. Stock has traded as low as 5 1/4 in early
April before settling in the $7-$8 range the past few weeks.
