This may be a very naieve outlook but I have to ask. Kuwait and the Saudis are looking for substantial cuts to OPEC production to prop up oil prices much to the consternation of the US and other G-7 countries. Given the US led rescue of those countries from havoc in the Guld War, why would Kuwait and the Saudis dare to be so mercenary with thier production and pricing to the world? How soon they forget. Next time around the g-7 may wish to explore another "solution" to a crisis that would enhance stable reasonable world oil prices. I realize that the situation is complex but it seems the middle east countries are being cavalier with their military benefactors.
