As I stated in a previous post, my goal was to build a school through cambodiaschools.com. My intentions here are to help those who need it the most. I believe I have started the process through this thread and the many people who have already contacted me via PM or email.

You said in your previous post you can see my only intention was that to discuss."

But in the post which you referred me to, he stated "Better still, organize a scholarship to good schools in the US for Cambodians...if they stay in the US, they pay back the scholarship over time, if they return, no need to pay back.

It sounded to me(and still does) that you are looking for a better way to get a school built. If you can do it, I applaud you and will even apologize for what I said to you. But I make no apologies for attempting to keep the spirit of the thread intact when others come in and question either our intent or the viability of the program.

In the end, this back and forth type of discussion will not get one brick in place nor one book in the hands of a child who needs it. If you have constructive points or criticisms to make, then please do so. Otherwise, this is time not well spent, as I am sure you would agree.

And one more time, please let me say that everyone is welcome in helping us get this school up and running; let there be no doubt about that fact. We need the contributions of many here on SI for this to be successful and come to fruition.

Regards,

Brian
