It was a mirror image of the first Ravens-Titans game this year. Glad to have seen the Ravens win the 3rd meeting instead of the first one.

My goodness are the pundits idiots. What kind of $$$ does a Randy "left" Cross "below the belt" make for the crap he spews? Or a Ditka or a Meyers or any of the other losers? Anyway, RC got on my nerves for obvious anti-Raven rhetoric that probably has more to do with his ties to the Bay Area than anything else... just as disgusting as Theismann's attempts to suck up to Baltimore-DC area fans this year. BTW, if somehow the Ravens manage a W in Oaktown, you all can expect Theismann to be a huge know-it-all.

While on the rampage... I once was invited to a golf tourney featuring dozens of NFL HOFers. By quirk, I landed in a foursome that featured Ken Houston and other old-timers. The other guys (not Ken... he is a deeply religious man without being overbearing to say the least) dissed 2 guys for not supporting the event... Joe Theismann and Frank Gifford. They were all over Gifford... none of the players like him.... yet they felt differently about Namath and some others so I doubt it was jealousy.

Real Question of the Day:
Why does Dick Vermeil want to ruin his storybook departure from the game? I predict he does squat in KC, after all, does he really expect to find another old ex-grocery guy who can beat NFL defenses on deep patterns?
