An observation of the difference in thinking between Liberals and Conservatives as gathered from real life and cyber-life.. This is very true on SI imo.
Liberal concerns, are outside their personal well being, whether it is the environment or broad civil rights of others. A more "the greatest good, for the greatest number" type viewpoint, which includes our environment.
Main concerns of Conservatives appear to be Control, Be it personal wealth and ownership matters or control of others beliefs or thought process.. Examples of the former, taxes, firearms etc. Examples of the latter, ..choice, faith, minority or even someone elses sexual rights., etc.. It boils down to selfishness AND NOT recognizing PLUARALITY in a society..
A small but humorous example of this is the obssession with this thread. They want to control what you do here... So they can come over and trash us.. rather than discuss their own issues..
Speaking for myself, I have no desire to go over there and post.. I guess we are much more interesting, intelligent, fascinating and, of course, better looking..gg.
