Glenn, re. 'net sales'. Unless they've changed their methods from last quarter, 'net sales' includes shipping charges and returns, and was used in their October press release and 10Q. SEATTLE, WA—October 24, 2000—Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced net sales for the third quarter of 2000 were $638 million, an increase of 79% over net sales of $356 million for the third quarter of 1999.
