Yeah, they sure do want to make it seem that way. However, it's been pointed out elsewhere that confusion between the terms "sales" and "net sales" may mean the loss is actually in the 26-27c range, or just about even with estimates.

And in case you're wondering whose interpretation to believe, consider: if AMZN really did expect to announce earnings 7-8c better than expected, wouldn't they be just a wee bit more explicit about that?
