I never doubted for a moment that the gorilla thread would have its comeuppance - it was a matter of time.

what makes you think the gorilla thread has had a comeuppance, you cretinous twit? the Naz may be in the toilet, and tech investors there and all over SI may be hurting, but the G&K has kept its intelligence, its good humor, and its sense of community throughout the drop--even as other threads have erupted into name-calling, in-fighting, and so forth. Constructing something valuable yourself is a bit more strenuous than picking obsessively over the droppings of others. When you've managed to do it, maybe someone will finally pay you the notice you seem to crave.
